Rotary Broom Core
A rotary broom core is the central body onto which sweeping bristles or segments are mounted. It provides structural support and helps the broom rotate evenly during operation.
Balanced rotation supports consistent contact with the road surface and reduces vibration through the drive system. Damage or wear to the core can lead to uneven sweeping and accelerated wear of surrounding components.
Broom cores are inspected during routine servicing, particularly on a mechanical road sweeper operating at higher utilisation. Lubrication access is often improved using a remote grease manifold, and cover work may be delivered under road sweeper hire with operator.
