Regenerative Air Sweep
A regenerative air sweep system is a specialist air-blast sweeping method that recirculates airflow rather than exhausting it after a single pass.
By reusing air within a largely recirculating circuit, the system maintains consistent sweeping performance while reducing overall energy demand compared with conventional blow-off designs.
During operation, used airflow is captured and redirected back through the sweeping system, sustaining suction and blast pressure without continually drawing in fresh air. This reduces dust escape and works alongside dust suppression jets to improve fine particulate control.
Regenerative air sweep systems are most commonly fitted to compact road sweepers operating in pedestrian zones and residential areas, where mini road sweeper hire is often used to manage restricted access.
