K
Kettle (Thermoplastic)
Heated vessel for melting and agitating thermoplastic prior to application.
Keyed Power Isolation
Lockable switch isolating all electrical circuits during servicing. Prevents accidental machine start-up in the depot.
Kneeling-System Pressure Tank
Pressurised air tank controlling the kneeling suspension. Stores reserve pressure for repeat operations.
Kettle Agitator Blade
Mechanical blade inside thermoplastic kettles ensuring even melt. Avoids sedimentation and uneven line colour on application.
Keyed Primer
Primer with texture that promotes mechanical keying.
Knock-Out Plug
Removable blank plug in hydraulic or water manifolds. Provides access for pressure testing or system expansion in future upgrades.
Kettle Circulation Pump
Pump circulating molten thermoplastic within the kettle to maintain even temperature. Avoids localised overheating and premature material ageing.
Keyed-Access Control Box
Lockable box housing high-voltage or burner controls. Restricts use to authorised engineers in line with PUWER requirements.
Knuckle Boom
Articulated boom for gully and suction work.
Kettle Level Indicator
Mechanical or electronic gauge displaying thermoplastic kettle contents. Prevents running the kettle dry and damaging heating elements.
