A
Application Flow Controller
Microprocessor unit regulating pump speed and valve timing. Maintains a constant binder or water application rate relative to vehicle speed.
Auxiliary Engine (Sweeper)
Dedicated engine powering fan/hydraulics on heavy sweepers for stable suction at low chassis RPM.
Airflow Balancer Valve
Balances suction between twin nozzles to prevent stall and maintain pick-up.
Application Gate Valve
Main valve isolating flow to spray bar manifold.
Auxiliary Engine Exhaust Guard
Perforated heat-shield surrounding the auxiliary-engine exhaust pipe. Prevents burns and protects nearby hydraulic hoses from radiant heat.
Airflow Control Damper
Adjustable damper located between the suction duct and fan inlet. It allows operators to fine-tune airflow strength for different debris loads and surfaces.
Application Overlap
Planned overlap between spray passes to avoid striping.
Auxiliary Fuel Tank
Additional fuel tank fitted to extend operating time on long sweeping routes. Usually mounted low on the chassis to maintain vehicle balance and easy refuelling access.
Airflow-Balancer Valve
Valve equalising airflow between dual suction heads on wide sweepers. Prevents one side losing suction and maintains consistent debris pick-up.
Application Rate (Binder)
Target litres/m² of bitumen emulsion or hot binder applied by the sprayer bar.
