Hopper

The hopper is the main storage compartment on a road sweeper where collected debris, dust, leaves, and litter are held after being swept or vacuumed from the road surface. It is typically located at the rear or centre of the vehicle and is built from durable, corrosion-resistant materials to withstand abrasive waste. Once full, the hopper is emptied either manually or using a hydraulic tipping mechanism at a designated disposal site.
