Dust Suppression Systems

Dust suppression is a key feature of modern road sweepers, designed to control and reduce the release of fine particles during sweeping operations. Without suppression, sweeping can lift dust back into the air, creating environmental and health risks for workers, pedestrians, and road users.

Most sweepers achieve dust suppression by using a water spray system that moistens the brushes and the surface being cleaned. This prevents dust from becoming airborne as debris is swept into the machine. Some advanced sweepers also incorporate filtering systems or air recirculation technology to further capture and contain fine dust particles.
